Andersen Racing Signs Hofman
For 2008 Star Mazda Campaign

PALMETTO, Fla., Jan. 21
- Last year Yannick Hofman tested the waters in the
Star Mazda Championship Series presented by Goodyear by entering two races in
preparation for a run at the series' 2008 Rookie of the Year award. He had
immediate success, recording a top-five finish in Andersen Racing's Jig-A-Loo No.
00 at Trois-Rivieres in his native Quebec. Today the 19-year-old from
Montreal and the team that brought him those results, Andersen Racing, announced
they'll combine forces again in 2008 for a full season of Star Mazda competition.

Hofman will join Juliana Gonzalez under the Andersen Racing tent in the Star
Mazda paddock, along with at least one other driver whose name will be
announced soon.

The Palmetto, Fla.-based team is sponsored by Allied Building Products Corp.
Additional sponsors for Hofman for 2008 will be announced soon.

Hofman comes to Star Mazda from the Formula BMW USA Series, where he finished
seventh last year. He was the sportsman division champion of the Skip Barber
Southern Region in 2005 with four victories. One of those victories occurred
at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Fla., site of the 2008 Star Mazda
season opener on March 14.

"We are pleased to announce that Yannick Hofman is joining us for the 2008
Star Mazda season," said team co-owner Dan Andersen. "Based upon his fine
performances in the two events he did with us in 2007, we expect podiums and
victories from this very talented young man."

"I was impressed with the team at Andersen Racing, and how professional
everyone is in the crew," said Hofman. "The Star Mazda single-seater is fun to
drive considering the extra power I had, but taming the car and the tires was
much easier with the help of my engineer and the mechanics. No wonder they have
always put their cars at the top of the charts. I'm really excited and happy to
be with them for a full season."

Andersen Racing is the development team of Rahal Letterman Racing, which
competes in both the IndyCar Series and the American Le Mans Series.
